city center delight

helpful staff clean room

i found the staff very helpful . my room was spacious and clean, which i appreciated. the hotel's location near the main attractions made exploring effortless. i also liked that a pub was nearby, perfect for a quick meal.

i found limited storage space in the room, so i had few places to put my clothes. more shelves or a small dresser would have been useful. that said, it did not ruin the whole stay

central gem!

helpful staff phone charger easy admission parking information

The hotel notified me about the location of the two nearest car parks, including their postcodes. the staff were super friendly and helpful. i even borrowed a phone charger from reception because i forgot mine. It was so convenient. the admission process was very easy!

The duvet had signs of mould. A new cover was provided but we had to put it on ourselves.

The hotel is in a great spot near the train station. the shopping area is easy to reach. Everything is within walking distance. the castle is also just a short walk away. The location was perfect!

There is a wetherspoons restaurant right next door. It is convenient for meals! they don't provide breakfast but being near wetherspoons is a plus! it offers a variety of affordable options.

central location clean room secure entry

the location was great near a pub and a supermarket. the room was clean and warm which was very nice after a long journey. i found the secure entry at night reassuring which is important for solo travelers.

i did notice that the windows opened only a small amount limiting fresh airflow.

missing hairdryer rock hard pillows

The room lacked a hair dryer. This was an inconvenience. pillows provided were excessively firm, impacting sleep quality. the bottle in the shower lacked shower gel. I expect these to be checked and full. i found these details unacceptable.
